Every morning we pull each retailer's full catalog and set aside prints, denim washes and plain neutrals. What's left is every solid-color piece in stock.
Each piece is assessed for its true fabric color, correcting for the retailer's studio lighting, and scored against the twelve seasonal palettes on hue, value and chroma. We feature only the colors a color-analysis audience will agree on at a glance; ambiguous ones are held back rather than guessed.
The dot beside each photo is the color we sampled from the garment. Retailer photography is shot on colored backdrops, so trust the dot over the photograph, and trust your drapes over both.
We use the standard twelve-season system. If you're between two seasons, check both; most pieces list the other palettes they suit.
Links go straight to the retailer. We may earn a commission on some purchases, at no cost to you; it never affects which pieces we feature.
